Solo Art Exhibit at Denver Public Library in partnership with Rocky Mountain Map Society
In this unique exhibit, local world map artist, Charlotte Bassin, uses her research into the lives of more than a dozen women who were/are ahead of their time in the realms of exploration, science, activism and art to create a series of maps. On their journeys some of these women set out to break records, others to educate and to make discoveries; all of them succeeded in breaking boundaries, finding freedom and making positive change in the world. Each artistic world map is a celebration of an individual’s story, inspiring viewers to get out there, see the world, tell their own story and make change while doing it.
The opening reception of this exhibit is a private event and invitation only. Please email me if you would like to be added to the invitation list.
